Our decisions are what define us

For those who have a passion for art, the most critical decision of all will eventually confront them; to become a full time artist or to leave that notion on the shelf and let the creation of art be nothing more than a pastime.
It was February of 2006 when Jennifer could no longer avoid this choice. Jennifer was working as an Art Director for a design agency but the stress of her position along with the growing sense of dissatisfaction from effectively creating junk mail began to weigh heavily. She and her husband Jonathan had often toyed with the idea of living a slower pace but it was still just a thought until Jennifer spotted a century home for sale on the outskirts of Huntsville. Without hesitating the two made an offer and by weeks end, it was theirs.
That spring the couple moved in and began their new life. Jonathan found work as a carpenter and Jennifer as a graphic designer for the local paper. Once they were settled in Jennifer left her job and began in her pursuit of being an artist first. In the fall of 2009 they began renovating an old building on their property into a gallery space for her to showcase her work.
Jennifer’s client base continues to grow. Her work has found its way into the hands of art lovers across Canada, USA, Bermuda, Australia and all across Europe. Being able to share her work and inspire others to explore their creative talents is something this self-taught artist enjoys most.
